Changes to ETA Visa Lodgements and Collections
Effective 1 February, 2010

From 1 February 2010, all ETA eligible passport holders can lodge their applications by:
   • Post
   • Registered ETA Travel Agent
   • Drop-box (located in the foyer of our office)
   • Online *

* Please note that some Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) visa eligible passport holders, except Taiwanese passport holders and UK-British National (overseas), can apply for their visa online at www.eta.immi.gov.au

If you choose to lodge your application via our ETA drop-box, you may attend our office anytime between 9.00am and 4.00pm, Monday to Friday (except on ACIO public holidays). Please ensure your application is in a sealed envelope, for security purposes.

ETA visas take 1 working day to process, however exceptions may apply. If you lodge via post or the ETA drop-box, your application will be returned via registered, express post. Therefore, please allow 3-5 extra working days to receive your passport. Postal expenses will be at the responsibility of the recipient.

AVS recommends you lodge your application at least 1 week prior to your intended travel to Australia. Please ensure you lodge your application along with all required documents.
